The destination you visit is never a place, but a new experience that is full of surprises, which is why I love travelling so much. My parents instilled a love of travel in me since I was very young. My father was always taking us somewhere new in the holidays. Now that I have my own family, with two young children, I am doing the same. Although it takes a little more organisation to travel with young kids, it really is worth the effort. I am passionate about having as many adventures as possible because after all, life is short.

After studying Nutrition at university I had and continue to have a real passion for keeping fit and maintaining a healthy diet. Now that I have 2 children, it is not always easy to do that but I try my best. I am always trying a new diet or fitness craze in order to maintain my weight. I love keeping active and, on most weekends, you will find me cycling with the kids, my husband somewhere behind us, in our local park in Nottingham. I strongly believe that keeping fit is a lifestyle choice and something the whole family should be involved in for it to be successful.

A passion for constantly baking, sewing or knitting something or the other. I am a mother to 4 children, 2 girls and 2 boys so I dont have much spare time but what I do have is always used for crafting. It is my way to relax and unwind in the evening. When my kids have a dress up day or dress up event I wiill do whatever it take to win! Proud to say my children often win the best costume prize and losing only spurs me on to try harder next time. Whether I am making something for school or for my home, it's my little way to unleash my creative side. Being a mother is such a blessing from Allah but I firmly believe that mums need to keep a little time for a hobby or a passion they have to remember who they are besides being a mum.
